IGNIS<\/strong>, in collaboration with the University of Valencia<\/strong>, has carried out the first tagging of a Bonelli\u2019s eagle with a GPS\/GSM<\/strong> device in the area where the future Limonero Solar<\/strong> plant will be developed, in Requena (Valencia).<\/p>\n

This milestone represents a key step forward in the conservation of local biodiversity<\/strong>, as it will enable detailed monitoring of the behaviour and condition of these birds of prey throughout all phases of the project. Thanks to the data collected, environmental teams will gain a better understanding of the species\u2019 flight patterns, feeding areas, and territorial use, thereby promoting sustainable coexistence between the development of renewable energy and wildlife.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With this initiative, we aim to responsibly integrate renewable energy into the environment<\/strong>, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection. Actions like this ensure that the deployment of new infrastructure does not compromise the conservation of sensitive species.<\/p>\n
