ENGIE will acquire 100% of IGNIS Luz, the energy supply division for SMEs of the IGNIS energy group. Both companies announced the deal this Thursday, March 26.<\/p>\n
The transaction is expected to be completed by mid-2026, subject to the relevant regulatory approvals.<\/p>\n
Based in Madrid, IGNIS Luz has experienced significant growth since its launch in 2021. Today, it supplies energy to more than 50,000 customers across the country, with a strong focus on companies and businesses.<\/p>\n
This acquisition strengthens ENGIE\u2019s presence in the Spanish market, consolidates its positioning along the energy value chain, and represents an important milestone in its global growth strategy in energy retail.<\/p>\n
