These projects, operational by <strong>2028, will generate a total of 1,469 MW<\/strong> in the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;The three projects in Lambayeque are already in an advanced stage of development, managing their environmental permits and closely collaborating with local communities to ensure their sustainability,&#8221; stated Juan Coronado.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Additionally, the executive confirmed that IGNIS is developing two solar projects, PV Alba and PV Blanca, in the <strong>Arequipa<\/strong> region, each with a capacity of 200 MW, with construction scheduled to begin in 2025.<\/p>\n<h4>Environmental commitment<\/h4>\n<p>Emphasizing the importance of moving towards a cleaner electricity matrix, Juan Coronado Lara maintains that IGNIS&#8217;s planned <strong>projects in Peru will not only decentralize electricity generation and diversify energy sources but also reduce the impact of climate change<\/strong> by decreasing diesel consumption dependency, resulting in more accessible electricity tariffs for the population in the medium term.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-8067 alignright\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"239\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-scaled.jpg 2560w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-300x169.jpg 300w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-1030x579.jpg 1030w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-768x432.jpg 768w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-1536x864.jpg 1536w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-2048x1152.jpg 2048w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-1500x844.jpg 1500w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Proyectos-Peru-705x397.jpg 705w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He also stressed that clean and competitive renewable energy opens up new <strong>opportunities for Peruvian products in international markets<\/strong>, where the traceability of carbon footprint is increasingly relevant.<\/p>\n<p>While highlighting that sustainability is a fundamental pillar in IGNIS&#8217;s philosophy, Juan Coronado emphasized that the company is working to <strong>build a more efficient and sustainable energy system<\/strong>, reflected in <strong>projects that seek to contribute to the country&#8217;s development in social, environmental, and economic aspects. <\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Under our commitment to the conservation of the Amazon ecosystem, IGNIS protects 32 hectares of forest in the Las Piedras River basin in Tambopata, in the Madre de Dios region, thanks to an agreement with the NGO Arbio Peru, making us Ancestral Forest Rangers,&#8221; Juan Coronado states.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>IGNIS has consolidated its presence as one of the main developers of such projects, playing a fundamental role in the country&#8217;s energy transition and decarbonization process.
