- Heat pumps: useing electricity for the production of steam and cold water, especially in processes that require simultaneous heating and cooling.
- Electric boilers: using electricity for the production of high temperature steam and/or industrial heat.
- Biomass boilers: using forest biomass for the production of thermal energy, fully decarbonising this process.
- Thermal storage: allows the production and storage of energy in the form of heat through the use of electricity. It is particularly beneficial when electricity prices are low.
- Electrical storage: using batteries to store electricity in order to optimise its consumption.
- MVR: recompression using electricity from residual vapour or process flash, avoiding the generation of vapour with natural gas.
- ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle): using industrial heat for electricity production.
- Industrial self-consumption: projects to install solar panels on rooftops or nearby land to generate photovoltaic energy.
- Hybridisation of cogeneration plants: with photovoltaic and/or wind installations.
- Electrification and recharging points: installation of systems suitable for each need, with dynamic energy balance and remote monitoring.
