COMMITTED TO THE TERRITORIES WHERE WE OPERATE
IGNIS incorporates sustainability into its business strategy, both at corporate level and in each of its projects, evaluating and developing both the social and environmental variables.With the aim of coordinating IGNIS’s local social action and increasing its impact on the territory, the Commitment Plan has been drawn up based on 4 strategic lines:
CONTRACT
The main objective of this first line is the inclusion in the labour market of local unemployed andat risk of exclusion groups in the field of the energy transition, contributing to the socio-economic development of the territories where IGNIS operates.
CONECT
In this line IGNIS aims to improve the local population’s access to renewable and affordable energy, also contributing to the dynamisation and fixation of the population in the local areas.
CREATE
This line focuses its efforts on contributing to the dynamisation and fixation of population in the rural environments where IGNIS operates.
CARE
The main purpose of this line of action is to conserve and improve biodiversity in the environments where IGNIS operates. It seeks to add environmental value to that which is already provided by the project itself in the framework of its environmental processing.

The growth and success of IGNIS is possible thanks to its professionals and to an innovative work methodology that places teams and members at its heart. To this end, it is a priority to maintain quality employment that promotes and preserves corporate culture.
IGNIS is active in the following areas:
VOLUNTEERING AND PARTICIPATION
Commitment and collaboration to generate a positive impact on our society are values that are very present in the company’s day-to-day work and are observed, among others, in voluntary activities, many of which are on the initiative of the company’s professionals.
IGNIS develops this volunteering through different activities promoted internally by the teams.
In the Board of Trustees of “Energía sin Fronteras”
IGNIS collaborates as a Trustee of the Association “Energía sin Fronteras” (Energy without borders) and has taken part in the design and execution of a photovoltaic system for water pumping in Los Jaime (Peru).
Replanting actions with Reforesta
IGNIS employees and their families collaborated with “Reforesta” in a reforestation campaign for the renaturation of the “Cañada Real Galiana”.
Talks in schools
Talks in schools in the communities where we operate to raise awareness on the importance of sustainability, care for the environment and the importance of renewables in the energy transition.
Collaboration with Caritas
Through the initiative “Un bocadillo solidario”, IGNIS collaborates with “Caritas” in the preparation and distribution of food to people in need.
Collaboration with Fundación Caná
Through the “Campeones” initiative, IGNIS collaborates with “Fundación Caná”, accompanying young people with intellectual disabilities in their learning about the labour market and renewable energies.
