What we do
WE LEAD THE DEVELOPMENT OF RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECTS
Our bet is on renewable energy as an essential tool for energy transition through our PV, wind and battery storage projects in Spain and other European, American and Asian countries. We are one of the largest Spanish renewable energy developers with a pipeline of >10 GW at a national level and >10 GW internationally.
The development process relies on a vast, highly qualified and on-site team assisted by specialized consultants. This process starts with a thorough analysis to identify feasible projects at an environmental, financial and technical level, and involves processing with the competent administrations and the issuance of all authorizations for the construction, connection to grid and sale of energy to the system.
Furthermore, we perform the EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) integral management of our own plants, including the preliminary design and analysis of plants optimization, supervising the construction of projects throughout the whole process until their commissioning.
Today we rely on over 300MW of renewable and conventional plants in operation in Spain, being one of the most relevant renewable energy independent power producers (IPP) in the sector.
One of the most relevant examples is the plant Aragón Solar, one of the largest PV installations in Europe (850 MWp) developed by IGNIS in 2017, a benchmark with respect to commissioning agility and the creation of employment for the area, operating since 2019 with a team of over 50 professionals and over 99% availability.
We carry out our projects responsibly, we are committed to local communities, and to protecting the environment:
We promote local employment
Our projects are based on our commitment with local communities and our contribution to responsible creation and development of new industries.
We respect and encourage biodiversity
We integrate biodiversity assessment in our projects and apply the mitigation hierarchy principle. Our ultimate objective is to preserve and improve our natural environment.
