Green hydrogen as a key driver for decarbonization and energy transformation

Armonia Green Galicia, a subsidiary of IGNIS, has obtained environmental authorization to build an ammonia plant in the port of Punta Langosteira (A Coruña). This ammonia will be produced from the green hydrogen that this company will produce at the Resonac facilities, with an initial capacity of 200 MW of electrolyzer, expandable to 400 MW.

In this interview conducted by AGH2, José Antonio Membiela, CEO of IGNIS P2X, highlights that this project could be considered a Hydrogen Valley and serve as an impulse for other smaller initiatives. He also stresses the need to streamline planning and facilitate access to the industrial network, although he insists that the lack of connection should not slow down the progress of these projects.
