As part of its contribution to a fair energy transition and in collaboration with the Reforesta Association, IGNIS has organized a volunteer day in La Cañada Real Galiana to promote reforestation in the Meco area.
Last December, 50 members of the company IGNIS participated, with their families, in this reforestation day with the aim of promoting biodiversity, an element that the company considers key to a fair energy transition. As a result, more than 90 native tree species were planted, promoting the renaturalization of the territory.
This initiative is part of IGNIS’ commitment to generate a positive impact on its activity, something to which Laura Pingarrón, responsible of sustainability area of IGNIS adds: “In IGNIS we believe that can contribute to a fair energy transition in many ways, also in small everyday actions. This is precisely what we want to reflect in our corporate volunteering program, where we put our commitments and values into practice, listen to the concerns of our employees and take the opportunity to see ourselves in different environments while making a positive impact on society.”
Undoubtedly, a day of action and awareness that marks a roadmap for the company, establishing important values such as caring for the environment and the protection of natural landscapes and environments.
